Creating a grassroots movement in Atlanta’s fitness community to change the way the world sees exercise


For too long, exercise has been about form over function, focused on creating attractive bodies over able bodies. This has led to a fitness culture of over-exercising and under-recovering, creating alignment problems, injuries, and pain.

This singular focus on body composition ignores the numerous other components of physical fitness and fails to consider fitness as part of a larger framework of physical, mental, and emotional wellness.

Move Well ATL believes that prioritizing movement, and training movement competency, builds a strong foundation for all aspects of physical fitness while creating a broader awareness of the role movement plays in our relationship with ourselves and our communities.
